Product Description
This is a 40" wood reproduction of the Columbia, mounted on a wood base. Takes 3-4 weeks for delivery. Models come semi assembled. Mast has sails and lines already attached, you need to follow the diagram and attach the eyehooks to the eyelets. Generally takes just a few minutes. No tool required!
HISTORY: Launched in 1899, the Columbia won the Americas Cup race the same year, and again in 1901. It's hull was sheathed in bronze, and it was scrapped in 1913 as the metal was needed for the war effort.
