38" USS CONSTITUTION SHIP
Product Description
This 38" tall wood reproduction is of the Navy Ship known as "Old Ironsides", the USS Constitution. It has amazing fine details, and is securely mounted to a wood base.
Models come semi assembled. Mast has sails and lines already attached, you need to follow the diagram and attach the eyehooks to the eyelets. Generally takes just a few minutes. No tool required!
The USS Constitution was built under orders from President George Washington and launched in 1797 for the US Navy. It has been all over the world, and in active battle with its tremendous firepower - it has over 30 cannons plus many more firearms.
It is the oldest commissioned warship in existence still afloat. It presently resides in the Boston Navy Yard in Massachusetts and can be viewed there on exhibit.
